Colored Water Fun For Baby

Image

Sixtine was very intrigued with these three little jars – she especially enjoyed looking through them and it was also a good opportunity to teach her about colors.

I just use used baby food jars, water and food coloring for these and they were pretty straight-forward to make. I made sure they were closed tight enough and watched her very closely. It was a fun, quick activity to do for a 10 month-old little one.

Ooh, that’s a great idea! You could also add vegetable oil if you wanted and that would be neat to look at. I need to try thins. Thanks!

    Such a creative idea.

  4. Brilliant idea! You could also use socks to put things like pasta, keys and rice in as the child then gets to listen to the sound without knowing what it is x

  5. So simple and cheap, brilliant!

  6. Pretty idea! I might try this with my 5 and 2 year old even!
