We’ve had very bad weather for a few days now, so I couldn’t pass on going outside with the girls this afternoon when the sun came out! I also had painting in mind and thought: why not combine the two? Apron, cardbox, leaves, foam brushes and out the door we went. Victoire was able to watch us in a cozy blanket knitted by my mother and enjoyed it just as much as we did. Sixtine had so much fun! We added some grass, leaves and pretty flowers picked out by little Miss Six’ and painted them as well. We have now a fabulous fall table accent in our kitchen that we cannot wait to show Daddy when he comes home! It was also a great opportunity to work on color discrimination!

So fun!
That sounds similar to what we did today, only when we painted the leaf cutouts it quickly became a body painting craft and then a hand stamping event on the freshly painted white door … Did I mention I used acrylic paints today, not washable tempura?!! Your photography is beautiful! I am following, can’t wait to see more 🙂
Great idea for an outdoor activity! And Sixtine is soooooo beautiful!
Thank you Judith!
What a great idea to have it all in the cardboard box!
Sixtine looks like she had a lot of fun, so cute 🙂
